NY ERA Proposed Ballot Measure Language – to be finalized July 26th

Proposition 1 - Adds Certain Protections to the State Bill of Rights

Adds anti-discrimination provisions to the State Constitution.  Covers ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, and sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity and pregnancy.  Also covers reproductive healthcare and autonomy.

A “YES” vote puts these protections against discrimination in the New York State Constitution.

A “NO” vote leaves these protections out of the State Constitution.

Our Mission

To advance reproductive justice in Westchester County; reproductive justice is defined as the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.

What We are Working On

  1. Pass the New York State Equal Rights Amendment in the November 2024 vote
  2. Improve black maternal health by working with Sister To Sister Int'l and the County
  3. Ensure accurate sex education for all NY youth via advocacy in Albany
  4. Expand tele-health access for reproductive care
  5. Fight misinformation and stigma regarding abortion and reproductive health care
  6. Expose fake medical clinics, aka ‘Crisis Pregnancy’ Centers, to protect patients
